The Baikalsk ski resort “Gora Sobolinaya"
is located in 148 kilometers from
Irkutsk by the federal road M-55. In
occupies 58,6 hectares at all in 4 points of
Baikalsk.
For the enlargement of ski base 16, 35
hectares are necessary, and for the
enlargement of “Sobolinaya” hotel 4,5
hectares are necessary.
The all location of territory has been made
according the existing legislation including
ecological expert of planning kinds of
activities and using the ground areas.
Ski resort “Gora Sobolinaya” Co., Ltd has
been excepted from the joint stock company
“Baikalsk Pulp and paper plant” in
December of 2003. Its basic kinds of activity
are: ski tourism, snowboarding, summer
cognitive tourism, business and ecological
tourism, extreme tourism,
travelling to Baikal, entertainment children’s sanitary and corporative rest.
This time the Resort includes: ski base,
gymnasium hall, 2 hotels per 185 places,
bars, restaurants, water-poll (25 m), valleyball
and boxing gyms, tennis court (open)
and hockey box.
The project is the 2 part of enlargement of
the existing enterprise.
2 objects of the Resort are liable to be
enlarged: ski base and hotel “Sobolinaya”.
1. The enlargement of the ski base.
a) the enlargement of 3 existing ski-tracks
b) arrangement of new training slope,
arrangement of the tracks for tubing, halfpipe
c) arrangement of two new tracks of
international level
d) construction of chair-lift
e) construction of new high-voltage powerline
and electric substation
f) construction of a parking for 300 cars
2. the enlargement of “Sobolinaya” hotel
a) construction of camping in Russian woodbuilding
style “ROUS”, including 18
cottages per 4 places, 3 bath-houses,
parking, sporting-courts, mini-golf-court.
b) construction of restaurant per 70 places
c) construction of all-the-year-round waterpool.
This project is made for using the famous
nature resource unique nature-ecological
(complex, for increasing the local population
being – busy, for increasing of tourist
potential in the lake Baikal region.
